Dot Link Predictive Maintenance

Predictive Maintenance

Unplanned asset breakdowns can disrupt energy distribution and grid continuity. By processing real-time telemetry with predictive machine learning models, the Dot Link Unit 24 can detect component anomalies early. Grid managers can pre-order replacement parts and schedule proactive maintenance during planned idle windows, preventing critical operational failures before they occur.

Smart Energy Dot Link

Smart Energy Distribution

Rapid industrial electrification combined with grid capacity constraints makes energy distribution optimisation essential. Whether optimising fleet charging schedules, integrating assets into an Energy Management Software, or curtailing photovoltaic generation during peak surplus periods, the Dot Link Ecosystem provides the connectivity and control required.

Dot Link for Automotive

The Dot Link Unit 24 integrates into any vehicle, from lightweight electric models to commercial buses and heavy trucks. Supporting multiple CAN bus protocols natively alongside a suite of bidirectional I/O interfaces, it seamlessly transforms standard vehicle platforms into intelligent assets.

Whether manufacturing vehicles, developing telematics software, or developing new ways of transportation, the Dot Link Ecosystem enables your connectivity goals.

Real-Time Emissions Insights

Evolving regulations require fleet owners to monitor CO2 and NOx emissions strictly. By combining real-time CAN bus telemetry with location data, the Dot Link Unit 24 can automate environmental compliance while delivering operator insights that optimise driving behavior, lower fuel consumption, and reduce total fleet emissions.

Dot Link Fleet insights

Fleet Insights & Optimisation

Managing a large service fleet requires optimizing asset utilization and minimizing operational downtime. Combining CAN bus metrics with precise GNSS location data and local edge algorithms, the Dot Link Unit enables real-time vehicle health monitoring and driver behavior analysis. This empowers operators to lower maintenance costs and maximize return on capital-intensive fleets.

Dot Link for Off-Highway

The Dot Link Unit 24 transforms heavy off-highway machines into intelligent, cloud-connected assets. Engineered with a rugged IP6K9K enclosure, it can be mounted directly anywhere on the machine to withstand extreme vibration, dust, and high-pressure washdowns in demanding field environments.

Whether manufacturing machinery, developing telematics software, or advancing frontier technology, the Dot Link Ecosystem enables your connectivity goals.

Dot Link History

Proven across diverse European deployments, the DotLink architecture originated as a compact telematics device for mobility equipment (The Cloud Link Box). It has since evolved into the edge-compute-enabled Dot Link Unit 24.

Explore the key milestones below:

March 2019

First connected CAN bus solution

We developed our first add-on PCB-solution for a Dutch personal mobility and all-terrain electric vehicle manufacturer where over 100 products' CAN data could be monitored remotely.

February 2020

Real-time database & CMS

We implemented a versatile SQL database where clients were able to access historical telemetry samples, gather statistics, and obtain insights of their combined data. Next to that, a CMS enabled clients to review data online and access it through APIs.

September 2020

First CLB and going international

We launched our first 'boxed' version (the Cloud Link Box) that was integrated in various Off-Highway machines. Next to that, our CLBs went international with units deployed in Norway!

December 2023

Conquering Europe

The CLB expanded to other European countries: France, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom with an installed base of over a 1000 units.

May 2025

CO2 compliance solution

For a Dutch customer a solution for CO2 and NOx monitoring with the CLB had been developed. With these insights, the end-client was able to comply to the strict regulatory standards.

October 2026

Launch of the Dot Link Unit 24 at IoT Tech Europe

Building upon the proven field experience of the CLB, we have developed the next generation of industrial connectivity. We are proud to launch the Dot Link Ecosystem, comprising three core pillars:
